Biography:
Andrew is a strategic urban planner with a background in geography and environmental studies. His established interdisciplinary skills have shaped his approach to planning, which focuses on enhancing liveability through integrating risk, resilience and sustainability within city development processes. He has a diverse set of project experiences involving the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors and has worked on projects extending in scale from community based development to large scale master planning. While at Arup, his work encompasses a wide range of projects, both as a strategic planner and project manager focused primarily on emerging economies of East Africa (Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda) South Asia (Pakistan, India) and Small Island Developing States (Seychelles, Maldives, Haiti). Prior to joining Arup, he worked as an urban planner in Canada, Hong Kong, Kampala, and Abu Dhabi.
