Biography:
As a Research Officer in the Statistics and Surveys Unit at the African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC), Collins lends his experience and expertise in coordinating fieldwork, qualitative, quantitative, geographic data collection and data quality management. Collins has worked on several studies at the Center including the Nairobi Cross-Sectional Slum Survey, Mitigating Aflatoxin for Improving Child Growth (Kenya) and PSI Affordable Medicines Facility. His research interests include urbanization, environment and community development. He holds a Master of Science Development Studies degree from Moi University and Bachelor of Arts Urban and Regional Planning from Nairobi University. He joined APHRC in 2009 as a Research Consultant and has since worked on more than 10 projects.
